Kinja'd!!!

I just filled the tank on the Mazda5 after not having driven for two weeks due to my surgery.

It seems that the car is capable of getting the rated MPG figures, but in order to do so it needs to be driven by a 73 year old woman. I am not a 73 year old woman, so I probably won't see those kinds of fuel economy numbers again for some time...

The 5 looks great with those wheels! RX8 or MS3?

Sadly that’s just an image pulled from GIS as I’m on a different device and don’t have pictures of my own car. Although I like the look of low-profile wheels and tires, as I've aged I've come to appreciate the lower price, more comfortable ride and more progressive breakaway characteristics of the stock 16" wheels and tires that I had to accept to get the model with the manual transmission.

I am in the minority, but I love tall sidewall tires on a daily driver. So comfy. I save the low profile tires for the track.
